You say you don’t want to know where this road goes
As you follow its twist and its turns
If I’m gonna be someone equally free
There are things that i must unlearn
I’d say it’s safe to surmise there’ll be storms at times
Cause you’re a wind so blustery and cold
And down our cheeks the rain will fall in sheets
Till the sun warms us both
The pavement’s the drum and we’re waltzing in beat
The rhythm of the sound of our shoes on the street
I’ll take care of you if you take care of me
Take care of me
You say you don’t want to know where this road goes
Cause you don’t want to spoil the surprise
We will see you’re eventually
Where our destination lies
Where our destination lies

• don’t talk about yourself all the time. you can do that in your own free time. to the mirror.
• shit should come out from your ass, not your mouth.
• have an opinion. but have some sense to realise it’s not the only one that matters.
• a little humility goes a long way.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting
For this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting
For this moment to be free
Blackbird fly
Blackbird fly
In to the light of a dark black night
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting
For this moment to be free
Blackbird fly
Blackbird fly
In to the light of a dark black night
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting
For this moment to arise
You were only waiting
For this moment to be free

You wonder sometimes about the paths you’ve taken. With little or no regret, of course. But you do tend to imagine how different things may have been.
You peer into other people’s lives and for a split second you wonder if it could have been yours. What if you were the husband? What if you were the father? What if you were the dickhead?
Life’s too short to be spent contemplating. But sometimes, it’s worth remembering that we could have been a million other places instead of here.
And perhaps that puts a little bit more magic into being here now, just as we are.
Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun
Shine on you crazy diamond
Now there’s a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky
Shine on you crazy diamond
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom, blown on the steel breeze
Come on you target for faraway laughter, come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon
Shine on you crazy diamond
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light
Shine on you crazy diamond
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision, rode on the steel breeze
Come on you raver, you seer of visions, come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine
